Fields Description

The main function

• (1) Import new assets

  

  • For assets that are already on SAP but not on CiAMS, users select "Import new Assets" to create new assets for CiAMS.

  • Choose "Download template file" to download the import file template. Fill out all required fields marked in red in the template file. Select "Select File" to import the completed file into the system. After importing, the system will send a notification with the result so that users can easily check for errors and make any necessary changes to the file before importing again.

    

• (2) Update Asset General Info:

  

  • For assets that already exist on SAP and CiAMS, when needing to update the asset's general information, the user selects "Update Asset General Info"

  • Choose "Download template file" to download the import file template. Fill out all required fields marked in red in the template file. Select "Select File" to import the completed file into the system. After importing, the system will send a notification with the result so that users can easily check for errors and make any necessary changes to the file before importing again.

    

• (3) Update Asset Depreciation:

  

  • For assets that already exist on SAP and CiAMS, when needing to update the asset's depreciation, the user selects "Update asset Depreciation"

  • Choose "Download template file" to download the import file template. Fill out all required fields marked in red in the template file. Select "Select File" to import the completed file into the system. After importing, the system will send a notification with the result so that users can easily check for errors and make any necessary changes to the file before importing again.
