Log in – Front Office – Reservation – Confirmation Detail – Billing – Select “Deposit


The Deposit feature allows to post to the guest’s folio an advance deposit pre-payment that guests make prior to their stays.

The button “Deposit“ is only enabled for the reservations having status = Reserved


Fields Description

Step 1: You should open the cash register to post a new deposit

Step 2: Input the followings fields:

  • Folio: Select the folio where you want to add the deposit transaction

  • Deposit Code: Select from the payment transactions list of values

  • Card Number: If the deposit method is credit card, enter the first and last 4-digits of the credit card

  • Amount: Enter the amount of deposit

  • Reference: Enter the reference note (if any)

  • Print a receipt: Check this checkbox if you want to print the receipt for this transaction


The deposit transactions are displayed with a negative amount on the guest’s bill.
