The screen allows you to configure the details of a rate plan such as: room type, rate amount, selling date, etc.

Fields Description

Details config for Base Rate

• Show Point: Select this option to also display the number of points corresponding to the rate. This option only applied for Villa Owners.

• From: From Date when start to apply the rate

• To: To Date when the rate is stopped to sell

• Weekdays: Days of the week when the rate is applied

• Season: Season when the rate is applied

• Room Type: Room Types associated with the rate

• Amount Config: Configure the detailed amount according to the guest’s occupancy

Details config for Advance Daily Rate

• From: From Date when start to apply the rate

• To: To Date when the rate is stopped to sell

• Weekdays: Days of the week when the rate is applied

• Season: Season when the rate is applied

• Room Type: Room Types associated with the rate

• Room Modification Type: Select the type for the adjustment from the base rate (by percentage or by amount)

• Room Modification: Adjustment percentage or amount from the base rate

• Room Rounding Type: Select the type of rounding

• Room Rounding To: Select the decimal to be rounded

  • Create: Add a new selling date range for the rate

  • Generate: Apply the configuration

  • Delete: Remove selected price configuration fields

  • Delete all: Remove all price configuration fields

  • Edit: Edit a date range

[Create Detail Config] – Add a new date range for Base Rate

For the inherited rate, the rate details will be inherited from the parent. You do not need to re-create it.

Select “Create” to add a new date range. You can select to configure the price by amount or by point (for Villa Owners).

Create detail config by amount

• 1 Adult: Enter the price for 1 adult

• 2 Adult: Enter the price for 2 adults

• Extra Adult: Enter the price for extra adult

• Extra Child: Enter the price for extra child (no extra bed)

• Add Adult: Add more adults

• By Season: Select the selling period by season

• By Range of date: Select the selling period by range of date

• Room type: Select the room types to apply the rate

Select “Save” to save the config.

Create detail config by point

• Point 1 Adult: Enter the point for 1 adult

• Point 2 Adult: Enter the point for 2 adults

• Point Extra Adult: Enter the point for extra adult

• Point Extra Child: Enter the point for extra child

• Add Adult: Add more adults

• By Season: Select the selling period by season

  

• By Range of date: Select the selling period by range of date

  

• Room type: Select the room types to apply the rate

  

Select “Save” to save the config.

Note:

1. The system has not allowed the rate point for the inherited rate yet.

2. You can only configure the rate point for the rate code after the rate code details are created.

[Create Detail Config] – Add a new date range for Advance Daily Rate

• Room Modification Type: Select the type for the adjustment from the base rate (by percentage or by amount)

• Room Modification: Adjustment percentage or amount from the base rate

• Room Rounding Type: Select the type of rounding

  • Rounding None

  • Rounding Up

  • Round Down

  • Rounding Mround, Rounding Mround Up and Rounding Mround Down

• Keep Inherited extra: Select this option to keep the extra charge of the parent rate

• By Season: Select the selling period by season

• By Range of date: Select the selling period by range of date

• Room type: Select the room types to apply the rate

Select “Save” to save the config.

Configure the percentage of promotions during the week or weekend

To configure the various promotions for different periods, you can create 2 detail config and select the corresponding weekdays to apply the promotion. See the example below:

Configure the staying date of the inherit rate plan different to the parent

You can always configure the staying date of an inherit rate plan different to the parent by editing the existing date range or adding a new one.

Remarks

Generate Rate Plan: After updating the details of the rate plan, select Generate button to apply the configuration.

Verify the last generate time to make sure the configuration is effective.
