Log in – Front Office – Reservation – Tab In-house – Select a reservation – Select “Move Room”

Summary

Allows you to move room for guests. You can move the guests to the room with the same or different room type.

Fields Description

Enter the followings fields to proceed with the Room Move

• Current Room: Current room number on the reservation

• Charge: Select this option if you want to charge this movement

• FOC: Select this option if you want to keep the same room price for this reservation

• Upgrade/Upsell: Select the room type to which you want to move this reservation

• Choose Room: Select the room number to which you want to move this reservation

• Reason: Select the reason for the movement

• History: History of movement

  • Date/Time: Date & time of the movement

  • From Room: Origin room

  • To Room: Destination room

  • Reason: Reason for the movement

  • Move By: User who performs the movement on the system

Click “Save” to execute the movement. The system asks you for confirmation:

• After successfully moved, the new Room Type and Room Number will be updated from the Confirmation Detail screen.

For example: The current room type of the reservation is TSTN and the guest asked to move to KSTN.

In case you choose the option Charge, the Room Type will be same as the Room To Charge, corresponds to the new room type and the new room price (in this example: Room Type = RTC = KSTN)

In case you choose the option FOC, the Room Type will be updated by the new Room Type, but the Room To Charge will be the previous room type before the movement, corresponds to the old room price (in this example: Room Type = KSTN; RTC = TSTN)

Remarks

You can move the room directly from the Room Plan screen by drag and drop the reservation.

Attention: for the in-house reservations, the system requires inputting the reason for movement (this is optional for non checked-in reservations).
